No. Trader Insight is purely a journaling and analytics tool. All insights, projections, and statistical analyses are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice. Always do your own research (DYOR) and consult a SEBI-registered investment advisor before making financial decisions.

Trader Insight is designed for retail traders and investors in India (and worldwide) who want to track their trades, understand their performance patterns, and improve their trading discipline. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.

No. The app does not connect to any Demat account, brokerage account, or trading platform. All trade data is entered manually by you or imported from CSV/JSON files.

All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not upload your trade data, journal entries, or analytics to any cloud server. Your data stays entirely on your phone.

If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted. We cannot recover it. We strongly recommend using the Export Data feature in Settings to regularly backup your data.

No. We have zero access to your trade data. Everything is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers.

Yes. Data is stored in encrypted local storage. Additionally, you can enable PIN lock and biometric authentication (fingerprint/face) in Settings for extra protection.

AI Insights analyze your past trade data using statistical models - including pattern recognition, Bayesian probability, association rule mining, Monte Carlo simulation, and regression analysis. All computations run locally on your device. No data is sent to any external AI service.

No. AI Insights are for informational and educational purposes only. They are based on your historical data and statistical patterns, NOT predictions of future performance. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes. Always do your own research and exercise independent judgment.

Monte Carlo simulation runs 1000 randomized projections of your future equity based on your historical trade performance. It shows probability of profit, potential drawdowns, and risk scenarios. This is a statistical tool for understanding possibilities, NOT a prediction.

Different features require different minimums: - Basic analytics: 5+ trades - Monte Carlo simulation: 10+ closed trades - Association rule mining: 15+ trades - Regression analysis: 15+ trades More trades = more accurate and reliable insights.

The free plan includes basic trade journaling, core analytics, and essential charts. Premium features like advanced AI insights, detailed reports, and Monte Carlo simulation require an active subscription.

You can subscribe through the app via Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Go to Settings or look for the premium badge on locked features.

Subscriptions can be cancelled through your Google Play Store or Apple App Store account settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.

Refund requests are handled by Google Play Store or Apple App Store as per their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. Subscription fees are non-refundable for any financial losses you incur while trading.

No. Your data remains on your device regardless of subscription status. You will lose access to premium features, but your data is safe.

Yes. Since all data is stored locally and all AI computations run on-device, the core features work completely offline. Internet is only needed for fetching live market data and subscription verification.
