Trader Insight ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Trader Insight mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

a) Data You Provide: - Trade details (symbol, entry/exit prices, quantities, dates, fees) - Journal/notes content - Trade strategies and sentiment tags - Portfolio capital settings - Fee template configurations - App preferences and settings b) Data Automatically Collected: - App usage analytics (crash reports, performance metrics) - Device information (OS version, device model) for compatibility - Subscription status and payment verification data

3. Data Storage - Local First

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE. a) All your trade data, journal entries, analytics, and personal settings are stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage (Hive database). b) We do NOT upload, transmit, or store your personal trading data on any cloud servers, remote databases, or third-party storage. c) Your trade history, P&L records, AI insights, and all analytical data remain exclusively on your device. d) If you uninstall the App or clear app data, your locally stored data will be permanently deleted. We cannot recover this data. We recommend regular backups using the Export feature.

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do NOT collect, access, or store: - Your real name, address, or government ID - Your Demat account number or trading account credentials - Your brokerage login information - Your bank account details - Your PAN card or Aadhaar number - Your actual portfolio holdings or real-time positions - Your contacts, SMS, call logs, or location data

5. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with the following third-party services: a) Google Play Store / Apple App Store: For subscription management and payment processing. Their respective privacy policies apply. b) Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics: For anonymous crash reporting and basic app performance analytics. No personal trading data is shared. c) Market Data APIs: For fetching publicly available stock prices and market indices. No personal data is sent with these requests. We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing, advertising, or any other commercial purpose.

6. Data Security

a) All local data is stored in an encrypted format. b) The App provides optional PIN and biometric (fingerprint/face) authentication for additional security. c) We implement industry-standard security practices in our development process. d) Despite our best efforts, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App, please contact us.

8. Your Rights

Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India, you have the following rights: a) Right to Access: You can view all your data within the App at any time. b) Right to Correction: You can edit or update your data directly in the App. c) Right to Erasure: You can delete individual trades or clear all data through Settings. d) Right to Data Portability: You can export all your data using the Export feature. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times.

9. Compliance with Indian Laws

This Privacy Policy complies with: - Information Technology Act, 2000 - IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures) Rules, 2011 - Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) - Other applicable Indian data protection regulations For users outside India, we also endeavor to comply with the data protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
